AndyBrazewell
Andie Brazewell is a Business Consultant and Event Manager. He has an Executive Certificate in Event Management, is an MBTI (Myers-Briggs) Facilitator and a Belbin Practitioner. Over the last 13 years, he has worked with a variety of global blue chip companies and public sector organisations in developing their long term strategic visions, together with designing appropriate training and communication events to deliver that vision. He also volunteers his event management experience to manage and deliver a number of festivals throughout the year.





Finn Shannon
is a freelance actor, musician and theatre director. He was for five years, the artistic director of a fringe theatre in London before joining Oddsocks Productions as associate director. Finn now works mainly in the corporate sector; producing, writing and designing, as well as performing in, conferences and training events.


Anthony French brings experience from working in professional theatre firstly as Stage Manager and then as a Production Manager for major touring musicals such as Grease and the Rocky Horror Show. He has worked in many varieties of large venues across the UK, Europe and Japan.

Nick Whitehead has spent 15 years in leading roles at the BBC. Starting at BBC Worldwide in the International Sales department, then heading up several large scale projects for BBC Post Production with a focus on project delivery and risk management within the BBC Factual and Learning department. Now in Local Government he has just successfully competed two years as Manager of Derbyshire LINk.






Bob Grayson is a local builder/shopfitter, with 26 years experience, work has included newbuilds both commercial (i.e. industrial park), domestic properties, extensions and refits of pubs and clubs, including several shops in Meadowhall, Sheffield.

Michael Askey is a Partner of the award winning Architectural Practice; Marsh:Grochowski, based in Nottingham. He is responsible for the technical side of the Practice's work and gets involved in issues relating to Health and Safety, contract, project management and detail design. Mike, who lives in Matlock Bath, has worked on projects such as the Louth Playgoers Theatre, Djanology City Academy Theatre in Nottingham, Arena Theatre in Wolverhampton and the D.H.Lawrence Pavilion Theatre at University of Nottingham. The Practice is currently looking at the new Art Gallery in Leicester and the Paxton Theatre at Buxton. He has recently been the partner in charge of the new £17 million Phoenix Square Digital Media Centre in Leicester.

is the Managing Director of Mitre Group Ltd, a company he founded in 1993 and now a nationally accredited training and research organisation. Mitre is the largest private sector provider of management training in the East Midlands and has delivered 32 government contracts to date. Prior to forming Mitre, Trevor was a Principal Consultant with KPMG in the Midlands. He joined KPMG from the Royal Navy.

Penny Macgregor was trained in Marketing, specialising in direct mail, and has spent three years with a commercial club, predicting accurately members reactions to offers and monitoring their buying patterns. She has also developed strong proof-reading skills. When she was a full time mother she organised many successful fundraising activities.









Darryl Cowby is an experienced fundraiser and has obtained sizable grants from charitable trusts; Funding Bodies (such as the National Lottery); Department for International Development; and the European Union. He has experience of running door to door appeals, raising funds from individuals in the locality. Most recently he was the Donor Development and Publicity Officer for The Sheffield Wildlife Trust. He has also written project budgets and funding reports.


Peter Matthews brings experience in Event Management, and Health and Safety, as a former event co-ordinator for a Transport Museum and later a preserved Railway Society. In the past he has worked, for a number of years, in various roles in the Cinema Industry.

Gregor Macgregor is a qualified accountant (FCMA) and is now a businessman with particular skills in the area Business Organisation and Controls. He has travelled around the world visiting companies and reviewing their structure to prevent fraud and the misuse of funds. He has also significant skills as a Project Leader, bringing complex projects to a successful and timely conclusion.











Charles Beresford is a retired international projects director, has lived in Matlock Bath for 20 years. A local historian he has written the definitive work on Matlock Bath during the Great War and has undertaken WWI research for Channel 4. He was a member of the 1992 “Save the Derwent Gardens Group” which opposed the previous plans of the Derbyshire Dales District Council to sell off the Pavilion.

Jackie Sellers has 10 years Marketing experience; she holds a Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma and has worked in business development for both national and international companies. She has experience across the whole marketing mix with a particular strength in digital marketing, communications and design.














Deborah Judd
has been teaching for 9 years. She teaches Art Textiles up to A level in a Derbyshire Secondary School and has also taught Photography, Media and Fine Art up to A level. Before teaching she worked in professional theatre as head of Wigs and Costume for several successful touring musical productions.
